L.G.A. Foundation

The LGA Foundation is a family charitable trust established by Sue and John Reece MBE. John founded the Reece Group after leading multiple successful international engineering businesses. Sue, having lived in the North East for over 40 years, is passionate about the region. They named the foundation after their children, which aims to support organizations that improve health and wellbeing. They prioritize work against food poverty, on mental health support, as well as sports/leisure activities. The Reece family is committed to their goals and welcomes grant applications, particularly for young people and vulnerable young women. They also seek partnerships with other grant-makers to enhance lives together. Sue Reece chairs the foundation and shares her dedication to its mission. LGA Foundation was introduced to WBC via Ali Reece and Jack Sealy from Sauce.

Newcastle Flooring

A neighbour to our UK affiliate in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, Newcastle Flooring Co.Ltd is a family-run business, established in 1979. They provide a full range of high quality flooring and carpet services including design and fitting services. Newcastle Flooring has been a big supporter of Wallsend Boys Club in the UK and we are delighted to have them as one of our partners in Hong Kong as well!

Peter Olsen

Peter Olsen has been a long-time supporter of Wallsend Boys Club Hong Kong. Having lived in Hong Kong for more than 50 years, he has seen many successes and challenges in his time. He is one of the world's leading toy manufacturer, including Matchbox cars amongst many others. On the personal front, he battled his own addiction and was able to change his life for the better. Having gone through that journey, he decided to invest his efforts into giving back to the community through philanthropy.

Sauce is a funky barbershop that incorporates style, fashion, music, art and events under the same roof. With over 30 years of professional experience between them, the team ensures that everyone walking through their door walks out feeling great, fresh and with the best haircut in town. 

Sam's Tailor

Sam's Tailor is a Hong Kong tailor shop that is world-renowned for their impeccable craftsmanship. Established in 1957 as the go-to tailor for the British soldiers stationed in Hong Kong, it now boasts of a wide range of clientele, from royalty, politicians to celebrities from around the world. It even has a Hong Kong postage stamp in commemoration of their 50th anniversary! Sam's Tailor is now run by 3rd generation, Roshan Melwani.
